Today the kids and I chatted about some things we'd like to do this week...ya know, since we are corona'd at home. (That doesn't mean we have corona, just that it's the cause of the current homebound status.) They mentioned different art activities, some fun games we could play, and the 7-year-old asked if he could just play the Wii every day, all day. Riiiiiight, buddy.
I also mentioned that it's St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday and maybe some fun things we could do for that. And soon we had the idea to "Shamrock" someone's door...or maybe a few someone's since we all need some love these next few weeks.
I looked online and couldn't find anything I loved, so here is a little printable I threw together. You can print it on green paper and cut out - or on white paper and color. You could also write little notes or compliments on the small shamrocks, things you love about the family or person you are shamrocking.
What I love about this is there is no "now forward it to two neighbors" or something like that, like the ones that go around at Halloween and such. This is just to let them know you love them and are thinking about them.
So shamrock away, people!
