The last two years, I've been following Emily Belle Freeman and David Butler for their "Don't Miss This" videos and study helps. I have appreciated their insights, organization, and ideas as we've studied the scriptures. They have helped me gain a greater understanding and love for the word of God...especially when we were studying The Book of Mormon. Absolutely loved that year of study!!
For Christmas this year, they shared a Names of Christ Advent and I immediately knew I wanted to do it with my family. They shared a few ideas of how to do this, including a free printable with a Name of Christ and a scripture that you can read each night leading up to Christmas.
For my family I wanted to go over the names but wanted something a little bigger that I could put up and see, so I just transferred their info to larger squares, printed, and cut out. I'm excited that our wall will be filled with names of Christ by the time we get to Christmas!!!!
I shared my file below. To create, I printed the first 8 pages double sided (and I wanted to do card stock so that you couldn't see the ink on the other side...but my printer kept jamming with it!). For the last page I just taped the two pieces together. The I cut them out and hung with mini clothespins. But you could also tape them up or put them in advent pocket calendars. Lots of options!
Again, please note that the names and scriptures were all put together by Emily Belle Freeman and David Butler...I just wanted a different way to print it.
If you would like to print your own, you can click on the file link below.
Happy Holidays!!
